The Stour Valley list for 2018 stands at 97 species so far.

February 16th

Pretty much the same most days at the reserve this week with the Redshank present at the marsh hide every day except today 16th when it was at the ramp. 20 Siskin and 1 Goldcrest in the alder wood monday 12th. Water Pipit's at marsh hide everyday with 15 the most seen.The nature trail and reedbed hide were open yesterday with 3 Snipe, 2 Shoveller, Teal and Mallard at the hide and 95 Lapwing, 1 Buzzard and 2 Marsh Harrier at marsh hide along with 1 Skylark and 1 Stonechat. Tower hide has now been dismantled with the new one going up soon,
